A few weeks ago, we introduced you to basic features such as Playlists and Loops. As announced, this time we present the advanced Playlists feature – audio tracks and audio tracks with a metronome overlayed on them.
By default, each Playlist item in Camtronome is a metronome with sequences or a downloaded Loop. With audio track support, you can also add audio files to any Playlist, which will become the same part of the Playlist as a regular metronome with sequences or a downloaded Loop.
By adding audio tracks to Playlists, you can easily practice eg. your favorite songs or your band’s prepared studio tracks, while taking benefits of Camtronome’s many features such as slowing down the playback (which also works with audio tracks) and recording during the playback. Time spent on practicing with an audio track is also recorded through the Practice Charts and Achievements and Rewards features.
That’s not all, however, as in Camtronome you can also overlay a metronome on the selected audio tracks (or add an audio track to an existing metronome with sequences). This another unique feature of Camtronome is perfect for practicing your favorite songs with a metronome overlayed on them or for setting up audio backing tracks for the stage.
The audio track (background track) prepared for the concert can be enhanced with a metronome click. As with the downloaded Loops, the volume and balance of both tracks (metronome and audio background track) can be adjusted as desired, making it possible to play the audio track on one stereo channel and the metronome on the other.
This way – using a standard 1x jack stereo <-> 2x jack mono cable we have an incredibly powerful tool for the stage.
All the unique features – Playlists (and the ability to configure their metronomes), Audio Prompter (speech synthesis), simultaneous recording, the ability to control the app wirelessly and support for audio tracks with metronome (with configurable audio balance) makes Camtronome a professional tool for the stage for any band. In one device, in one application, we have at our disposal the complete set of functions needed on stage to play a modern concert, using audio backing tracks.
